An update from our CEO

Last night the Government made a further announcement following the developing spike in COVID-19 infections. Despite these latest restrictions I would like to reassure you that there is no significant impact and the HML team will continue to operate as usual to ensure our services remain unaffected. As such, I would like to update you on a number of areas:

Meetings

We have and will continue to strongly encourage the use of remote meetings, which has proven to be a successful means of communicating with our clients. Physical meetings are limited, in line with lockdown measures. All staff will continue to adhere to our existing strict social distancing regulations and hygiene measures, which includes the wearing of PPE.

Telephone Lines

Our lines will continue to operate during our usual hours of 9am – 5.30pm. If you require additional support outside of these business hours, please visit the HML website, for more information about our Out-of-Hours service. Please kindly note that since the ease of lockdown, our working practice has changed. In order to reduce the risk of transmission in the workplace we have implemented a new system whereby staff are working in cohorts. I understand this is a difficult time but we are doing our best to make sure your call is answered, and transferred where necessary, as soon as possible.

Property Management

We will continue to perform our duties as Managing Agent so that your property remains in safe hands. That said, we will continue to monitor the latest Government announcements. Should this impact our property management duties as a direct result, we will communicate any changes in our services or steps that we are taking, in accordance with Government guidelines, to you as our client immediately.

Essential Services

HML’s ‘Essential Services’ are fully operational, with all teams able to perform their full duties relating to all Health and Safety, Surveying and Major and Minor Works. Should you require any of these services and/or have any questions pertaining to these services, I would encourage you to contact your local Property Manager.

Our Team

Staff presence onsite will remain within the same capacity. The well-being of our customers and colleagues continues to be our primary concern. I would like to reassure you that our efforts are dedicated towards taking the necessary precautions to ensure your property is cared for during these worrying times.
